Leg 5: Southeast Asia

Hi folks! Welcome to the SE Asian leg of the World Tour. My name is Kuber Sharma. Originally from India, my background includes working in Indian politics and running a Venture Capital firm doing early stage/growth capital investing in India. I am really looking forward to exploring SE Asia with fellow admitted students this summer.

There is no simple way to describe the wealth of opportunity that an SE Asia travel offers! SE Asia area has long been a favorite corner of the world for globe-tramping backpackers, well-known for its perfect beaches, tasty cuisine, and low prices. This trip will provide us an opportunity to observe the dynamics of a ‘unique’ set of culture through ‘real-world’ encounters and excursions of the historical wonders of each country we will visit. Also, the experience would provide us a grassroots look at the countries that are currently great contributors to world’s economy through executive meetings, companies’ tour, self-experience, and meetings with the political leaders.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions. In the meantime, please check back regularly for updates about the trip as we will begin to have more information in the coming weeks.

Given below is the itinerary for SE portion of the world tour.

Jun 1-3 (Philippines)
Jun 4-6 (Indonesia)
Jun 7-9 (Singapore)
Jun 10-12 (Malaysia)
Jun 13-15 (Thailand)
Jun 16-18 (Cambodia)
Jun 19-21 (Vietnam)
Jun 22-30 (India)

*If you will be living in any of these countries this summer, please register so we can be sure to meet up with you while we are in town.
